Global Academic Partnerships & Research

Fostering cross-border academic exchanges, joint research projects, and global accreditations to elevate Philippine higher education.

To enhance the global standing of Philippine SUCs, Commissioner Apag's office is actively promoting internationalization and research excellence. This initiative supports SUCs in seeking international accreditations (such as ABET and AUN-QA) and forming partnerships with foreign universities. These partnerships facilitate student and faculty exchange programs, dual-degree pathways, and collaborative research in fields such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and coastal resource management. By participating in international consortiums, SUCs are exposed to global research standards, leading to increased publication rates in high-impact journals and the generation of local solutions to global challenges.
