PMMA 1st Quarter Regular Governing Board Meeting for Fiscal Year 2026

Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III, D.Eng, PCpE, Chairperson of the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) Board of Trustees, is welcomed by top management, officers, and employees headed by Superintendent Commodore Joel Y Abutal, PMMA in line with his visit for the 1st Quarter Regular Governing Board Meeting for Fiscal Year 2026.

Moreover, in solemn observance, Commissioner Apag also joined PMMA officials for the wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of the death anniversary of President Diosdado P. Macapagal, under whose leadership Republic Act No. 3680 was signed in 1963, transforming the Philippine Nautical School (PNS) into PMMA and enshrining it as the nation’s premier maritime institution.
