Institutional Overview

Cotabato State University (CotSU) is a public state university located in Cotabato City and is one of the leading higher education institutions in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Established as a state university through Republic Act No. 11068 in 2018, CotSU evolved from the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC), expanding its mandate to provide quality higher education, promote research and innovation, and strengthen community engagement. The university serves as a key institution in developing competent professionals and supporting the socio-economic growth of the region. CotSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in education, engineering, information technology, business administration, agriculture, fisheries, public administration, health sciences, and other allied disciplines. The university continuously enhances its academic programs through quality assurance, research, extension services, and industry partnerships to ensure relevance and excellence in higher education.
