Institutional Overview

Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC) is a public state college located in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, and is the only agricultural state college in the province. Established as a state college through Batas Pambansa Blg. 384 in 1983, the institution traces its origins to the Sulu National Regional Agricultural School, which was established in 1963 and later renamed the Tawi-Tawi National Regional Agricultural School. TRAC is mandated to provide quality instruction, research, extension, and production with emphasis on agriculture, technology, and allied disciplines. The college offers undergraduate and graduate programs in agriculture, agricultural business, forestry, information technology, information systems, hospitality management, criminology, social work, and technical teacher education. Guided by its vision of becoming a center of excellence in agriculture and allied disciplines in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, TRAC actively promotes research, community extension, technology transfer, and sustainable development through strong partnerships with government agencies and local communities. Through its commitment to academic excellence and public service, the college continues to produce competent, innovative, and socially responsible graduates who contribute to the development of Tawi-Tawi and the nation.
